Great Iem but needs improvement / BOB, FL   2/15/2009
I am very good at installations but this was a real project. You have to be creative when you are installing by yourself and somehow design a rod or board to press on the brake pedal while you are testing and programming. Also, there should be an option to allow you to play all programmed messages one after another instead of it repeating the same. You have to get behind the car with the remote and change the message. Still a good quality product and fun.

I went to install it only to discover the wires exiting from the epoxy resin used to seal the back of the LED module had pulled out of the resin and would cause a short circuit if I hooked it up. I was able to remove enough of the resin to get contacts on the printed circuit board, cleaned up the connections and re-soldered the wires. I then re-sealed the module using some silicone caulk. The repair works great and I''m pleased that I don''t have to return it.

The concept is great and as I read the instructions I felt it would be easy to install, but programing requires you to be outside of the car and the brake light has to be on. Sorry my leg is not long enough to reach the break petal from the rear of the vehicle. It is going back.

I was really looking forward to receiving this because we have a limousine service. In order for it to work on the limo''s we would have had to drill a hole, or either run the wire, loose, in the trunk. Would not work on our truck or Avalon. Concept was great, just would not work for me.
