The slightly aged look makes this a very realistic fountain. It was easy to assemble and it began bubbling as soon as the sun hit it. We live in New Mexico where we get lots of sunny days. The solar panel is not rechargeable, so it runs only when the sun hits it; something I knew when I purchased it. Remember this if you don't live in a "mostly sunny area." But everything is a trade-off; there are no wires to plug in or deal with. I love it!

Nice looking, but water hardly moves and only for part of the day, does not store energy which I understood when I bought it. I just thought it would have a bit more umph.... for the price, not a very good deal. I didn't return it, because by the time I unboxed it and set it up, my 30 days was up. Also no way to turn it off, so if it runs out of water, the pump is working......

Fountain arrived yesterday and took no time at all to set up. As soon as the sun hit it the fountain began to bubble, Looks beautiful amongst the roses. My only critique is I wish it stored energy from panels to a battery for use while sun is blocked - but I knew it didn't when I ordered... Checked out other brands from another TV shopping channel but was scared off by all of the poor reviews on performance and customer service with the manufacturer - so I decided to go with Grandinroad and HSN!
