does not work and noisey / betty, FL   2/16/2009
I put it in my bedroom, closed the door for hours.It smelled like plastic and the air was not fresh like others I have bought. Their is no easy return label because it was $ 29.95 ups to return it!!! It has been weeks and I havent recieved credit! Good thing I bought insurance!!!

NOT ONLY DO THEY GIVE ME FRESH CLEAN AIR TO BREATHE MY HOUSE SMELLS NICER CONSIDERING I AM A SMOKER IT JST SUCK IT ALL IN. THE NOISE IS A BIT LOUD BUT BEARABLE.

I have one of these in my bedroom and it is about 5 feet from my head. I am a very very light sleeper but these do not keep me awake and do not wake me up. In fact, if it were not for the light I would not know they were running. THESE ARE GREAT.

if one of these only hums, then it must not be working! even on night setting these units are very loud! put one in my bedroom because i need to clean the air from my dog taking up the bed, but to much noise. purchased 2, both will be going back. will purchase 2 more of the ionic pro''s, they are whisper quiet!

Appears to be efficient in cleaning the air, but it is so loud that I was unable to sleep, and it was purchased primarily for the bedroom. Also, the cost of the prefilter was much more than I expected. $88. each year. Returned.
