I purchased 4 of these purifiers in the past and really like them. Not purchasing filters is a plus too.

Carbon pre-filter must be replaced / Ingrid, SC   12/13/2008
I got this Air Purifier because the TV presentation implied that the filter never has to be replaced, only vacuum cleaned. They did not mention that this unit has a 2nd filter (carbon pre-filter) that has to be replaced approx. every 2 month. The Air Purifier works fine but will be junked eventually when replacing the carbon pre-filter becomes too expensive.

I was looking for an air purifier that I did not have to buy any thing else to operate it. What they did not tell us, that even though the filter is cleanable, there is an activated carbon pre-filter that has to be replaced approx. every 58 days at a cost of $22 for two pre-filters. I do resent that this was left out of presentation. It does seems to clean the air very efficiently. The only reason I gave it only 3 stars, is the cost of the pre-filters.

This air purifier rocks! I have a two cats and one dog in a relatively small living space. Between the pet hair and the pet odors, it was beginning to smell like a zoo. After purchasing this air purifier, my home now has a notably fresh clean smell to it. No more pet odors!

This is my first air purifier. I am so happy with it I will be buying another one in the near future. It is greaat that I cuold buy my purifier on flex-pay. I am retired and on social security and with the flex-pay I was able to afford it. Keep up the good work HSN. Also, I have two cats and hate litter smell, and now I don''t have to.
