This product is cute but overpriced. The cats no doubt love it but will never be able to catch, or grasp, their "prey." The timer is great if you want distraction for the cat when you are going out or to occupy it when you don't have time. But I think that it is ultimately bad psychologically because it wears the cat out. Mine knocks it over!

I have 5 cats who show no interest in the laser points, but do attempt to take it apart and look at the lights inside.

At first i purchased a laser which I had to hold and move it with my hand, at a local pet store. When i saw the cat laser toy i was so happy. My cat really gets a great work-out in every day with this toy. And if i don't turn the laser back on she whines, and I'm glad the toy has an auto shut off after minutes, so i can save on the batteries. My cat sits and waits by her laser toy so she can chase the laser around. Cat lover this is a WINNER TOY!!!!

My cats love the laser light and will play for hours. Batteries it came with didn't work but put new ones in and it worked great.
