DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I bought the iRobot Looj on 06/20/2009 in anticipation of the fall season. I tried it this weekend (10/30/2009) with a great deal of disappointment. I climbed up the ladder, and tried to put the “Looj” in the gutter. To my surprise it did not fit, even after the promoter said it would fit ALL gutters. Not to mention the battery cap to the remote handle popped off and fell to the ground with the batteries. It took me forty-five minutes to find the battery cap and one of the two batteries. I tried to return this item but, was told that the thirty day return policy was up. Lesson learned the hard way; do not buy something months in advance, now I’m out of $137.75. Should have just paid the neighbor kid $25.00 to clean my gutters, could have gotten five season worth!!! !!

I recently purchased this for my husband since he is the one who gets this very unpleasant job. He wasn't much of a believer, but I convinced him to "just try it" and see how it does. Well, it worked great! It was amazing to see how it literally whips the leaves and debris out of the gutters. The only time it stopped was when there was a large stick in the gutter which stopped it (not the robot's fault). I don't know what the problem was for the other reviewers, but we have regular gutters and it moved right along under the gutter straps without any problems. I would definitely recommend purchasing it and I know my husband would!

I was unable to use this product because my eves were improperly installed which caused the robot to hang up. When I went to return the product, I was told I had to return it to IRobot directly. Although I returned my product, I did not receive my refund. HSN was not helpful in this process. I was able to stop two of the three payments with a compliant to American Express. I would never buy anything through HSN again.

Too bad the other reviewers were not impressed with this product, I felt it did it's job well. I live alone, had my 16 year old grandson come over to clean my gutters with this product. We were both impressed and it did a fantastic job. Yes, you have debris on the ground to sweep up, but your gutters are clean and that's the point. I would not let the fact that it is plastic stop you. I think this is less harmful to the gutters than having something metal in them whirling around!

It is garbage. It's going back. It kept getting stuck. it almost fell out of the gutters.
