There is a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you love it. I steamed 4 blouses and 1 skirt in the time that it would take to iron 2 blouses. I even tried corduroy and silk, and it worked great. Heavy cottons may not be as crisp as using an iron, but the steamer does a good job and I am far more likely to use it.

My white down bed cover was wrinkled from being folded during the summer.The steamer was ordered to steam out the folds.It took me more than an hour and still I could see the folds.This is a white silk cover and it shouldn't have been this hard.Save your money because you get what you pay for and nothing in this world is good and cheap! I'm having second thoughts about these TV shopping shows. Everything is always great to hear them tell it.

Wow, i have to say this is quite the amazing little product!..i just can't give Joy enough praise about developing this and most of her other HSN products for the general public!
This item in particular is unique and well thought out! I have a list of Joys products..and they do work..and she is smart!..Stop with all the haters out their..who probably just wish they would've thought of some of the ideas themselves..
This product is genius! it works far better then a much more expensive steamer i purchased from a reputable department store prior to getting this one..and the more expensive one didn't even work at all and is 4 times the size! and this one is a fraction of the price and does what its supposed to!. It heats up in a flash is very convenient is cute and actually works! Thanks Joy, and keep up the fabulous work!

Great design, cool to the touch, easy to use, does the job well. We haven't ironed in years and have used floor steamers and hand-held models which fall apart and spit water on clothing. This little Desert Rose number has replaced our floor model -- no more hoses to hold high in the air only to be burned by hot water dribbling on me and the floor. This little hand-held steamer works like a charm! My husband borrowed it and now wants one, too. We'll use the smaller ones for travel. Great set!
