I LAYED A 4X8 SHEET OF PLYWOOD OVER THE TOP OF THE 4X4 RACK WHICH I AM USING FOR SETTING UP A MODEL TRAIN SET.. WHEN I''M NOT PLAYING TOYS, I JUST RAISE IT UP AND OUT OF THE WAY.. ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE FOUND IS THAT THE BOARD IS IN THE WAY OF CRANKING IT UP AND DOWN.. SO I JUST SLIDE THE BOARD ABOUT 2 FT--CRANK IT UP--SLIDE THE BOARD BACK TILL NEXT TIME.. ALSO IT SAVES ON MY BACK, BECAUSE I LOWER IT TO A POINT THAT I DON''T HAVE TO BEND AS FAR.. BEING A GEEZER; I''M LOVING THAT..

This thing rocks! I have a garage with high ceilings; I am using the ProStor HeavyLift to keep bicycles off the garage floor. I have 8 hanging from it. I simply lower the lift and hook the seats over the rails of the platform, and wind it up. Here is a tip: leave your 3/8" chuck cordless drill attached to the winding handle and your HeavyLift is automated. Both cars back in the garage; my neighbors are jealous.
