Fast bloomer / Jan, MI5/14/2008 Recv''d 3 plants and in the ground they went. You wouldn''t believe what I am about to tell you, but one plant budded and bloomed in 2 days time. Right now the blooms are prox. 4-5 and purple. Still waiting for the other two guys to kick in (been 2 or 3 weeks now), but I am impressed with the fast results on this one. AND, the blooms are still there.

I''ve purchased from SpringHill catalog years ago for a similar lilac bush and it is still doing just wonderful. Nice Healthy Plants / OA, TX4/25/2008 They are about a foot tall and healthy looking when I received them. One of them already have buds. It had been 2 weeks after I planted them and they are just great! Lilac bushes in my Texas garden! (moved here from N.J.)
I Hope They Live / Schnauzer, VA4/14/2008 Received these on 4-11-08 and planted them over the weekend. They look pretty scrawny and thin - not much to them for $45. But I will wait and see what happens before I pass final judgement. If they grow to three nice bushes, then what a deal (hopefully in my lifetime!) Whether they live and become nice bushes or die out from their scrawniness, I will let you know.
Finally..Lilacs in Florida! / Norma, FL3/26/2008 I planted these in 3 different areas of my yard...and they are already blooming! These are wonderful! I have wanted lilacs for my yard since I moved to Florida, but had no luck growing the older kind. Thanks for such a wonderful addition to my garden!
I grew up with lilacs, and the sight and smell bring back such wonderful memories!
